His presentations were entitled "Best Practices for Testing Direct Current Control Circuitry", "Best Practices for Current Transformers and Potential Transformer Testing and Maintenance" and "Best Practices of Relay Data Management." Working with approximately 40 attendees from various utility entities, including cooperatives, power generators and transmission and distribution entities, Hancock's presentations focused on program development, mitigation plans and consultation in regard to complying with the ever changing North American Electric Reliability Corporation/Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulations.
Mike holds a professional engineering license for the State of Texas and has over 18 years experience in the electrical power industry.
