"Peru Mining Report Q2 2011" is now available at Fast Market Research

PRLog (Press Release)– May 29, 2011– The Peruvian mining sector looks set to grow by 8.3% in real terms to reach US$19bn in 2011, which will mark a slowdown in growth from 15.7% registered in 2010. This can be attributed to declining grades across the country's largest mines due to underinvestment, which explains our modest growth production forecasts for mined copper, tin, silver and gold in 2011. Despite falling grades across Peru's mining sector in 2011, we forecast the value of the Peruvian mining industry to grow by an average of 8.5% per annum from 2011 to 2015 in light of major expansions across the sector.

Despite growing challenges to Peru's business environment in recent months - mainly the possible imposition of a mining tax - we expect that Peru will remain business friendly to ensure continuing investment in the sector. Indeed, given that many other mineral rich countries, such as Australia, Chile and Brazil, have implemented or suggested tax increases on the mining sector, its competitive advantage is unlikely to be damaged should it decide to go through with the tax. That said, we note the looming threat of strikes and the government's recent efforts to tackle longstanding environmental issues.

Peru's mining sector has been amenable to foreign investment since the 1990s as successive governments have taken pro-business outlooks. chevrolet At present, the vast majority of mining companies operating in Peru are foreign-owned and there has been little indication that the government is seeking to reverse this trend in the future. Peru's mineral royalty tax is relatively low at between 1% and 3%. However, many large-scale ongoing operations remain unaffected by the royalty due to previous contracts with the government, although the government's new tax proposal is seeking change this.

Overall, Peru's mining industry is dominated by foreign-owned companies, with private domestic entities owning most of the medium- and small-sized mining operations. Mined zinc, gold, copper and tin production is highly consolidated, while silver production is more fragmented. Going forward, we expect Peru's mining industry to continue to be dominated by foreign-owned companies given the government's pro-business outlook and with little indication that the government is seeking more control over the industry.

New Children’s Book Series Goes Chuggin’ Down the Canal

Central Florida Church Selected to Compete in 2011 ENERGY STAR National Building Competition

Northland is participating along with hundreds of other teams from buildings buick throughout Central Florida and across the nation, including hospitals, hotels, high schools, other houses of worship ... even a parking garage at the University of Central Florida.

Competitors measure and track their building's monthly energy consumption using EPA's ENERGY STAR online energy tracking tool, Portfolio Manager (http://www.e car news nergystar.gov/index.cfm?c=evaluate_performan ...); make improvements to their building's energy performance; and share their progress. Of the initial pool of 245 competitors, a small group of buildings will be selected as finalists in July. Among the finalists, the building that demonstrates the greatest percentage-based reduction in energy usage will be recognized as the winner on November 2, 2011.

"Northland is honored to be a part of this competition," says Dr. Joel C. Hunter, Northland's senior pastor. "For us, it's about following God's first command when He said to take care of the Earth [Genesis 2:15]. Ultimately, it's our spiritual responsibility."

The 2011 ENERGY STAR National Building Competition includes 26 different types alfa romeo of commercial buildings from 33 states and the District of Columbia. New Market Research Report: Argentina Freight Transport Report Q3 2011

BMI sees 2011 as a reasonably good year for Argentina's freight transport sector. The main driver will be better-than-expected economic growth as the go chevrolet vernment prepares for the October 2011 elections. BMI has lifted its forecast for GDP this year to 6.0%, up from 4.1% previously, as strong private consumption combines with government pump-priming to provide a supportive environment to the transport industry.

In volume terms, the strongest expansion will be in airfreight, followed by some of the country's main ports and railfreight. We believe there are two related downside risks to out current forecasts. First, there is the possibility of a hard economic landing sometime after the October elections, particularly if an incoming administration finds the fiscal coffers are in a worse state than has been publicly acknowledged. There is already some concern over the reliability of economic data and most analysts acknowledge the under-reporting of the inflation rate. We believe the extent of this risk will become clearer later in 2011 and is most likely to affect freight performance in 2012.

The second downside risk relates to the general 'politicisation' of Argentina in an election year. Although Fernandez is currently the front-runner in the polls, she remains a politically divisive figure and her disagreements with the farming sector over export taxes and other issues could have a direct impact on the flow of exports through the country's ports.

The rear decklid is autographed by Rose and John Schneider – who played "Bo Duke" in the original series – with personal messages.

JRLA is a recipient of a Michigan Future Schools initiative grant, which comes with the expectation that 85% of students graduate from high school, enroll in college, and earn a college degree. Using a grade 9-16 mentor model, the plan at JRLA is to exceed those standards.

Recently released market study: Brazil Mining Report Q2 2011

PRLog (Press Release)– May 07, 2011– Brazil's mining sector remains relatively undeveloped given the country's size. Despite the abundance of natural resources, total mining revenues currently comprise less than two percent of the country's GDP. However, we believe the industry is beginning to reach its full potential with a major public spending programme augmenting the ambitious expansion programmes of a number of locally-based mining firms including Vale, Rio Tinto and Angloamerican. the National Mining Plan, released in February 2011, aims to double output of key mineral groups including iron ore, gold and copper between 2010 and 2030 with $270bn invested by Brasilia in mining, research and processing over the period. Looking at more immediate developments, we forecast the value of Brazil's mining sector to reach US$90.7bn in 2015, up from US$44.8bn in 2010. An average annual growth of 8.5% is forecast between 2011 and 2015.

Iron Ore Production To Continue To Rise

Brazil's iron ore sector is poised to continue its recent expansion, which has seen the country consolidate its status as the second largest exporter in the world after Australia. Total production is forecast to reach 412mt (mill rc helicopter and car market place ion tonnes) in 2011, an increase of 11.4% on volumes in 2010. Much of this growth is expected to have been derived from the expansion plans implemented by Vale, the world's largest iron ore miner, with output at the company's Carajas mine, which is situated in Para state, set to be expanded by 30mt to 130mt in 2011. Looking further ahead we forecast total iron ore output to increase by nearly 58% between 2010 and 2015 when it will reach 583mtpa. Average growth over our 2011-2015 forecast period is expected to be an impressive 9.7% year-on-year (y-o-y).

Regulatory Environment

A new Brazilian mining code seeking to eliminate speculation and force companies to develop projects faster was reportedly close to completion in March 2011, according to the country's Mines and Energy Minister Edison Lobao. The new code is expected to reduce the length of time companies have to complete explorations of mineral deposits in order to stop companies from buying deposits and selling them on after prices rise. The code will have a specific clause regulating uranium mining, which currently can only be mined by state-owned companies. The new code is not expected to discriminate against foreign ownership of mining assets, though it is expected to offer tax incentives to companies that are involved in domestic steel production, rather than producing ores for export and processing abroad.

A small number of large multinationals dominate the Brazilian metals and mining industry. Large multinational players operating in the Brazilian mining industry include: Australia-based BHP Billiton, Brazil's Vale and UK-based Rio Tinto. Vale operates primarily in Brazil, China and Europe. It has operations in 14 Brazilian states and also has a presence across the US, Africa, Asia and Australasia. Other important firms include US-based Jaguar Mining, which explores and extracts gold in the Minas Gerais state. It has operations in four regions: the Sabara region, the Turmalina region, Paciencia and the Santa Barbara regions. Mirabela Nickel is an Australian-owned nickel producer. The company operates one of the world's largest open pit nickel sulphide mines, Santa Rita, located in Bahia state.

The Way (or Path) of the Bow demonstrated at 2011 Swordfest by Kyudo Kai - Bill Reid Sensei

Sensei Reid's study and practice of Kyudo is an elegant, ceremonial, non-combative method of shooting the traditional Japanese bow and arrow. Kyudo requires, and therefore develops, a balanced body that works in concert with a peaceful mind.

Kyudo, literally "the Way (or Path) of the Bow," is a path that takes a lifetime to travel. Early progress in the basic forms of Kyudo soon give way to deeper insights into specific details. Each successive insight leads the student to a greater appreciation of the depth, subtlety and sincerity of the Kyudo experience. One of Japan's oldest and purest martial arts, today Kyudo is practiced by men and women throughout the world.

Because the practice of Kyudo involves little in the way of hard physical activity, spirit is extremely important. When the spirit is weak the shooting becomes dull and lifeless. Onuma Sensei taught that if  the spirit is strong one will appear like a deep-flowing river, calm on the surface but with tremendous power hidden in the depths. Compare that to someone whose internal spirit is weak. Like a small stream, they may  appear powerful because of all their noise and turbulence, but underneath they are shallow and devoid of any real power.

The Virginia Kyudo Renmei (VKR) is an affiliate organization of the American Kyudo Renmei (AKR). The AKR operates under the auspices and authority of the All Japan Kyudo Federation (Zen Nihon Kyudo Renmei [ZNKR]) and the International Kyudo Federation (Kokusai Kyudo Renmei [IKYF]).

France Oil & Gas Report Q2 2011: New research report available at Fast Market Research

PRLog (Press Release)– May 01, 2011– The latest France Oil & Gas Report from BMI forecasts that the country will account for 14.57% of developed European regional oil demand by 2015, while making a 0.26% contribution to supply. In Developed Europe, overall oil consumption in 2010 was an estimated 13.02mn barrels per day (b/d). It is set to recover to around 13.18mn b/d by 2015. Developed Europe regional oil production was 6.96mn b/d in 2001, and in 2010 averaged an estimated 4.40mn b/d. It is set to fall to just 3.53mn b/d by 2015. Oil imports are growing steadily because supply is contracting and demand is rising, albeit slowly. In 2010, net crude imports were an estimated 8.62mn b/d. By 2015, they are expected to have reached 9.65mn b/d. Norway will remain the only major net exporter, with the UK a growing net importer.

As regards natural gas, the Developed Europe region in 2010 consumed an estimated 416.5 billion cubic metres (bcm), with demand of 457.1bcm targeted for 2015, representing 9.7% growth. Production of an estimated 255.7bcm in 2010 is set to fall to 254.0bcm in 2015, which implies net imports rising from the estimated 2010 level of 160.8bcm to some 203.1bcm by the end of the period. The French share of gas consumption in 2010 was an estimated 10.34%, while it has no appreciable share of production. By 2015, its share of gas consumption is forecast to be 9.75%.

The 2010 full-year outturn was US$77.45/bbl for OPEC crude, which delivered an average for North Sea Brent of US$80.34/bbl and for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) of US$79.61/bbl. The BMI price target of US$77 was reached thanks to the early onset of particularly cold weather, which drove up demand for and the price of heating oil during the closing weeks of the year.

dodge We set our 2011 supply, demand and price forecasts in early January, targeting global oil demand growth of 1.53% and supply growth of 1.91%. With OECD inventories at the top of their five-year average range, we set a price forecast of US$80/bbl average for the OPEC basket in 2011. The unprecedented wave of popular uprisings in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) that followed the removal of Tunisian President Ben Ali on January 14 has obviously fundamentally altered our outlook, p chevrolet articularly since the unrest spread to Libya in mid-February.

Taking into account the risk premium that has been added to crude prices in response to actual and perceived threats to supply, we have now raised our benchmark OPEC basket price forecast from US$80 to US$90/bbl for 2011 and from US$85 to US$95/bbl for 2012. Based on our expectations for differentials, this gives a forecast for Brent at US$94/bbl in 2011 and US$99/bbl in 2012. We have kept our long-term price assumption of US$90/bbl (OPEC basket) in place for the time being while we wait to see what path events in the MENA region take. We have also retained our existing supply and demand forecasts until the scheduled quarterly revision at the start of April.

French real GDP is assumed by BMI to have risen by 1.5% in 2010. We are forecasting 1.8% average annual growth in 2011-2015. Oil consumption is set to stagnate in spite of increased economic activity, with demand of an estimated 1.85mn b/d in 2010 expected to rally to no more than 1.92mn b/d by 2015. Crude oil imports are expected to have reached 1.92mn b/d by 2015, with domestic crude oil production falling from an estimated 18,000b/d to just 9,000b/d over the period. Gas demand is expected to rise more quickly than for oil, with new sources of supply being lined up by GDF Suez, which has signed import agreements with Egypt, Russia, Norway, Algeria and the Netherlands. Gas consumption is likely to have reached 44.6bcm by 2015. Production is negligible, so imports could rise to 42.6bcm.

Between 2010 and 2020, we are forecasting an increase in French oil and gas liquids consumption of 3.35%, with estimated 2010 demand of 1.85mn b/d rising slowly to a peak of 1.93mn b/d in 2013/14. By 2020, we are forecasting French consumption of 1.91mn b/d. Production is set to fall from around 18,000b/d to just 5,000b/d during the same period. Gas demand should rise from the estimated 2010 level of 43.1bcm to a peak of 45.0bcm in 2017, based on liquefied natural gas (LNG) and pipeline imports. An R-Value is a measurement of resistance to the flow of conductive heat transfer. Since Radiant Barriers like Eco-Solar-Shield™ are designed to reflect radiant and not conductive heat, they do not have an actual R-Value. Any "theoretical" or "equivalent" R-Value depends heavily on the method of installation and the size and number of air spaces surrounding the material. Which do I need, Perforated or Non-Perforated?

It depends on your particular climate and application. Is double sided Eco-Solar-Shield™ any better than the single sided type?

Yes, provided that it is installed with an air space on both sides. There are two properties which allow Radiant Barriers to work, reflectivity and low emissivity (low-e). Heat is reflected on the top/hot side, and since RB has a low-e value, heat is not emitted to the bottom/cold side. Of these two properties the low-e value is of greater importance. In order for a radiant barrier to be most effective in both summer and winter it needs to have aluminum on both sides.
